NMMSS Scholarship 2026-27: स्कूल students के लिए scholarship से जुड़ी एक जरूरी update सामने आई है। Ministry of Education ने National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) के तहत 2026-27 session के लिए application की last date बढ़ाकर 31 October 2026 कर दी है। यानी eligible students के पास scholarship application complete करने के लिए अभी कुछ समय बाकी है।
इस scholarship के तहत selected students को ₹12,000 सालाना की financial assistance दी जाती है। Application National Scholarship Portal (NSP) के माध्यम से किया जाता है।
NMMSS Scholarship 2026-27 की Last Date क्या है?
Ministry of Education के revised schedule के अनुसार NMMSS 2026-27 के लिए student application submit करने की last date 31 October 2026 है।
इसके बाद application verification के लिए भी अलग-अलग deadlines निर्धारित की गई हैं:

कितनी मिलेगी Scholarship?
NMMSS के तहत eligible और selected students को ₹12,000 प्रति वर्ष scholarship मिलती है। यह amount Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) के जरिए student के bank account में transfer किया जाता है।
यह scheme खास तौर पर ऐसे meritorious students को support करने के लिए है जो आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर परिवारों से आते हैं, ताकि वे Class 8 के बाद अपनी school education जारी रख सकें।
हर साल इस scheme के तहत 1 लाख fresh scholarships Class 9 के eligible students के लिए उपलब्ध कराई जाती हैं। Scholarship को निर्धारित academic requirements पूरी करने पर Class 10 से 12 तक renewal के जरिए जारी रखा जा सकता है।
NMMSS Scholarship के लिए कौन कर सकता है Apply?
NMMSS में fresh scholarship के लिए eligibility से जुड़ी मुख्य conditions में शामिल हैं:
- Student को State Government, Government-aided या local body school में पढ़ना चाहिए।
- Class 7 में कम से कम 55% marks या equivalent grade होना चाहिए।
- SC/ST students के लिए marks में 5 percentage points की relaxation है।
- Parents/guardian की annual income ₹3.50 lakh से ज्यादा नहीं होनी चाहिए।
- Scholarship पाने के लिए संबंधित State/UT Government द्वारा आयोजित selection examination को qualify करना होता है।
Application करने से पहले इस बात का रखें ध्यान
NMMSS application के लिए National Scholarship Portal पर One-Time Registration (OTR) जरूरी है। NSP के अनुसार OTR student को एक unique number देता है, जिसका इस्तेमाल scholarship applications के लिए किया जाता है।
अगर आपने application पहले ही submit कर दिया है, तो सिर्फ form submit करना ही काफी नहीं है। अपने application का verification status भी जरूर check करें, क्योंकि Institute और District level verification की अलग deadlines हैं।
